Abstract: In this study 10 Angle class 11/1 cases who did not complete their maximal pubertal development, with retrognathic mandible and deep bite were treated with the Herbst appliance. Together with significant dental, skeletal and soft tissue changes, Angle class 1 occlusion was achieved. Normal function and esthetic appearance were established. Lateral radiographies of pre-treatment, post-treatment and retention periods were evaluated.
