Abstract: One of the consequences of extensive use of abdominal imaging, and especially liver ultrasonography, is the detection of asymptomatic liver tumors. In the absence of underlying chronic liver disease, the vast majority of these lesions correspond to benign liver tumors including solid and cystic lesions.
