Title: [Conditions of the L-lysine decarboxylase biosynthesis in a culture of Vibrio sp]. Author: Ruzgene AV, Ragavichius AB, Beretskene SI. Journal: Prikl Biokhim Mikrobiol; 1990; 26(1):81-4. PubMed ID: 2112247. Abstract: The effect of L-lysine HCl concentrations, pH, temperature and cultivation conditions on the synthesis of intracellular lysine decarboxylase (LDC) by Vibrio sp. was studied. The highest LDC activity was observed in a 4-hour culture grown at 30 degrees on a nutrient medium, pH 5.15 containing 0.9% L-lysine HCl as an inducer. Under these conditions the LDC activity of the bacterium was 8.43 U/mg dry cells.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
