Author: Mudholkar VG, Acharya AS, Ramteke RV.
Journal: Pediatr Dermatol; 2011; 28(1):30-1. PubMed ID: 21261701.
    Abstract:
We present a 6-year-old immunocompetent child with disseminated cutaneous phaeohyphomycosis, affecting his face, arms, thighs, and chest. He was treated with oral itraconazole 100 mg once a day for 5 months and surgical excision of the residual lesions. Disseminated phaeohyphomycosis is very infrequent in immunocompetent children.
