Title: Effect of three surfactants on the bond strength of glass ionomer cement to dentin. Author: Abdul Rub S, Jagdish S. Journal: Fed Oper Dent; 1990 Aug; 1(1):8-13. PubMed ID: 2129241. Abstract: An invitro study was conducted to evaluate the effect of three surfactants on the Tensile Bond strength of Glass Ionomer Cement to dentin. The surface acting chemicals used on dentin in the analysis included combination of EDTA and sodium hypochlorite, orthophosphoric acid and sodium hypochlorite and the sodium hypochlorite alone. The results indicate that the combination of EDTA-sodium hypochlorite brought the best bonding followed by orthophosphoric acid & sodium hypochlorite and sodium hypochlorite in that order.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
