Surgical excision has been the therapy of reference. Endovascular treatment is emerging as a real alternative to surgery. The present study reports a case of postsurgical arterioportal fistula involving the gastroduodenal artery, the cause of portal hypertension, which was successfully treated by transarterial embolization using embospheres.
