Abstract: The purpose of this work is to estimate the efficacy and safety of balanced two-segmental spinal-epidural anaesthesia (SEA) as well as application of this technique in conditions of extended operative delivery. The method has been used in 69 pregnant patients aged 23-42 years, with gestation period ranging from 36 to 40 weeks.
