Title: Clinical and scientific implications of second-look laparoscopy. Author: Tulandi T. Journal: Prog Clin Biol Res; 1990; 358():85-91. PubMed ID: 2145591. Abstract: Second-look laparoscopy is an important tool to evaluate the results of a given reproductive surgery or the efficacy of ancillary measures used during surgery. The efficacy of this technique to improve intrauterine pregnancy rates, however is still unclear. Late second-look laparoscopy does not enhance the pregnancy rate but the efficacy of early second-look laparoscopy remains to be seen in an ethical and randomized controlled trial.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
