    Abstract:
    The results of the analysis of 41 observations of bronchial microcarcinoids ("tumorlets") established the regularities of the sex and age distribution of the patients, localizations of the tumours, the patterns of the background processes, histoarchitectonic and cytological variants of tumour foci, different variants of histogenesis as well as the capacity for invasive growth and the occurrence of argirophilic granules in the cytoplasm of tumour cells.
