  • Title: The hydropsfinder: an electronic device for the diagnosis of endolymphatic hydrops.
    Author: Hoehmann D, Georgi KH.
Journal: Med Prog Technol; 1990; 16(4):219-24. PubMed ID: 2151667.
    Abstract:
An electronic device has been developed which can diagnose endolymphatic hydrops clinically. The special unit can be used with any standard commercial evoked potential equipment currently employed for electrocochleography and auditory brainstem responses. This clinical tool enables the investigator to distinguish the hydropic human ear from the normal and other pathological conditions.
