Title: [Treatment of threatened preterm labor with partusisten and salbupart]. Author: Murashko LE, Fedorov NA. Journal: Vestn Akad Med Nauk SSSR; 1990; (5):26-9. PubMed ID: 2152446. Abstract: Comparative trials of two tocolytic preparations, salbupart (Polfa) and partusisten, showed their high efficacy (75 and 80 per cent, respectively). The success of management depends on the outcome of the preceding pregnancies, the course of current pregnancy in the 1st and 2nd trimesters, the cervical status, and extent of therapy. Normalization of cAMP levels concurrent with reduced force of uterine contractions and elimination of clinical signs of threatening pregnancy termination are also indicative of benefits of tocolytic therapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
