Title: Intravitreal ranibizumab for the treatment of choroidal neovascularization secondary to ocular toxoplasmosis. Author: Shah NJ, Shah UN. Journal: Indian J Ophthalmol; 2011; 59(4):318-9. PubMed ID: 21666322. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to report a case of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to ocular toxoplasmosis in an 18-year-old female patient. She was treated with a single intravitreal injection of ranibizumab. The CNV resolved as confirmed by fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT). The visual acuity improved to 20/30, which was maintained till the last follow-up visit at two years, without requisition of a repeat injection.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
