Journal: Zh Nevropatol Psikhiatr Im S S Korsakova; 1990; 90(4):95-9. PubMed ID: 2167597.
    Abstract:
As many as 120 patients with endogenous depression, 116 patients with neurological depression and 100 healthy test subjects were examined using a number of psychological methods: Spilberger-Khanin test for reactive and personality anxiety, personality differential and a questionnaire of depressive conditions (QDC). The purpose of the investigation lay in the search for differential diagnostic criteria for depressive conditions. The task of the investigation also included clinical and neurobiological validation of the QDC. With this purpose in view, the results of the patients' testing with the aid of the QDC were compared with their clinical evaluation and dexamethazone test (DT) findings. The investigation has demonstrated the psychological methods employed to be suitable for the task of differential diagnosis of endogenous and neurotic depressions. The use of the clinical method and the DT has confirmed high validity of the QDC.
