Title: [Reparation of the hepatocyte plasma membrane using phosphatidylcholine liposomes]. Author: Dobrynina OV, Shatinina SZ, Archakov AI. Journal: Biull Eksp Biol Med; 1990 Jul; 110(7):94-6. PubMed ID: 2171698. Abstract: Rat hepatocyte plasmatic membrane damages caused by the administration of tetrachloromethane of heliotrine was investigated. Phospholipid content in plasmatic membranes decreased. Heliotrine caused complete and CCL4 twofold inhibition of Na, K-ATPase. Intraperitoneal administration of egg yolk phosphatidylcholine liposomes had a reparative effect on the damaged membranes consisting in the restoration of phospholipid content and enzyme activities.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
