Abstract: The paper is concerned with a study into the characteristic features of language pathology in children with early infantile autism of the process genesis. 68 patients with early infantile autism were entered into the study. The language as the earliest function of the central nervous system may suffer first of all. Language disorders of varying pathogenetic levels consequent on retarded development, catatonic disorders, mental regression, and pathology of the associative process have been revealed.
