Abstract: Convergence paralysis is a rare entity that is usually associated with head trauma or mid-brain pathology. We describe a patient with idiopathic convergence paralysis that resolved without intervention. Idiopathic convergence paralysis is very rare and does not satisfy the criteria for diagnosis as described by Bielschowsky in 1936.
