  • Title: [Role of magnetic resonance imaging in identifying undiagnosed knee fractures].
    Author: Mangursuzian MR.
Journal: Vestn Rentgenol Radiol; 2011; (5):40-2. PubMed ID: 22420210.
    Abstract:
The purpose of this investigation was to comparatively analyze the results of traditional X-ray study and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in traumatic knee injuries. The comparative analysis could reveal diagnostic errors in more than 54% of cases. The early use of MRI to diagnose intraarticular fractures of the distal femur, proximal tibia, and patella favors the right choice of a surgical treatment policy.
