Title: [The sensitivity of the indirect hemagglutination test for sera from tuberculosis patients with different characteristics]. Author: Durmaz R. Journal: Mikrobiyol Bul; 1990 Jan; 24(1):27-31. PubMed ID: 2283961. Abstract: In this study, the effect of clinical significance, period of therapy, age and sex of patients on the sensitivity of serological test have been investigated. A positive result was obtained in 80% of patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis, 89% with tuberculosis of the other organs, 72% with a period of therapy less than 13 months, and 91% with a period of therapy more than 24 months.
