Title: α-Glucosidase inhibitory hydrolyzable tannins from Eugenia jambolana seeds. Author: Omar R, Li L, Yuan T, Seeram NP. Journal: J Nat Prod; 2012 Aug 24; 75(8):1505-9. PubMed ID: 22867049. Abstract: Three new hydrolyzable tannins including two gallotannins, jamutannins A (1) and B (2), and an ellagitannin, iso-oenothein C (3), along with eight known phenolic compounds were isolated from the seeds of Eugenia jambolana fruit. The structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis.
