Abstract: A number of ear, nose and throat symptoms are often associated with pregnancy, which although transient (most will disappear after birth), can have a significant impact on the woman's quality of life. It is essential therefore that midwives are aware of how such symptoms might present during pregnancy, in order to appropriately inform women and safely manage those symptoms.
