Title: The utility of cone beam volume CT in the evaluation of thrombosed intracranial aneurysms in subarachnoid hemorrhage. Author: Shah S, Murthy SB, Hannawi Y, Rao CP. Journal: BMJ Case Rep; 2013 Jan 11; 2013():. PubMed ID: 23314882. Abstract: Thrombosed aneurysms are difficult to visualize with digital subtraction angiography. We report a case of subarachnoid hemorrhage from a thrombosed ruptured aneurysm which was undetected on digital subtraction angiography but was visualized with cone beam volume CT. To our knowledge, this is the first report highlighting the utility of cone beam volume CT in identifying such aneurysms.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
