Abstract: Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis is a new, severe and possibly life-threatening disorder as illustrated by a 25% mortality or severe disability rate. Its neuropsychiatric presentation closely resembles schizophrenia.
