    Abstract:
    Thyroid storm was observed in a patient with Grave's disease after stimulation of release of epinephrine and norepinephrine with 2-DG. Measurements of catecholamine secretion before and during onset of thyrotoxic crisis suggested the important bearing of increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system on pathogenesis of thyroid storm.
