Title: Neonatal appendiceal perforation and Hirschsprung's disease. Author: Arliss J, Holgersen LO. Journal: J Pediatr Surg; 1990 Jun; 25(6):694-5. PubMed ID: 2359011. The importance of differentiating between true appendicitis and periappendicitis in a neonate with appendiceal perforation is stressed, in order to avoid a missed diagnosis of Hirschsprung's disease.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
