Title: [Electron microscopy in the differential diagnosis of chronic lympholeukemia and differentiated (lymphocytic) lymphosarcoma in the leukemization stage]. Author: Gogichadze GK, Shekklashvili MSh, Devdariani TsSh. Journal: Arkh Patol; 1990; 52(3):8-12. PubMed ID: 2369335. Abstract: By electron microscopy, globular structures of varying size and moderate electron density were revealed in cells of peripheral blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes in patients with differentiated (lymphocytic) lymphosarcoma at the stage of leukemization, which were located in both cytoplasm of lymphoid cells and intercellular spaces. Plasmocyte-like cells with bizarre outlines of rough endoplasmatic reticulum were also observed in patients with leukemized lymphosarcoma. The above globular structures are not observed in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
