    Abstract:
    This technique permits temporary repositioning of the condylar elements of a dental articulator for the construction of orthotic prostheses and treatment planning in orthognathic surgery. The procedure is simple and adaptable to various types of articulators in current use. A single set of cast may be mounted in multiple relationships with custom-made inserts that may be retained as a record of the treatment relationship of the casts.
