Title: [Pathogenesis of arterial hypertension in the immediate period after reconstructive operations on the abdominal aorta and major arteries of the lower extremities]. Author: Kirsanova IN, Nazyrova LA. Journal: Khirurgiia (Mosk); 1990 May; (5):51-3. PubMed ID: 2391938. Abstract: Examination of 31 patients with chronic atherosclerotic occlusive lesions of the abdominal aorta and large arteries of the lower limbs showed that arterial hypertension developed in the immediate postoperative period in 48% of them. It was established that the principal link in its development was non-hypoxic++ peripheral vasoconstriction associated with disturbed neurohumoral regulation of the vascular tonus, which was displayed by changes in the normal relations between catecholamines and cyclic nucleotides in arterial and mixed venous blood.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
