Abstract: The crush cytology perform during the surgery for 22 cases with brain tumors at Surugadai Nihon University Hospital, being compared with frozen and permanent histology sections. Crush cytology, which was generally and less damaged by artefacts than frozen sections. Immunocytochemistry used crush cytology were useful tools for differential diagnosis between undifferentiated glioma and carcinoma.
