Title: [A ferredoxin-linked sulfite reductase from Spinacia oleracea (author's transl)]. Author: Hennies HH. Journal: Z Naturforsch C Biosci; 1975; 30(3):359-62. PubMed ID: 241168. Abstract: A sulfite reductase from spinach has been purified 125 fold. Throughout all stages of purification the reduction of sulfite has been found dependent on ferredoxin. Reduced ferredoxin has been provided either by photosynthetic reduction in isolated, broken chloroplasts or by NADPH via the ferredoxin-NADP-oxidoreductase. During the purification procedure ferredoxin as electrondonor has been replaced by reduced methylviologen.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
