Abstract: Arterial aneurysms are most commonly (60% of cases) located in the infrarenal abdominal aorta. An inflammatory mechanism is involved in only 10% of cases. Infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms revealing Takayasu's disease is unusual. Takayasu's disease is a rare vasculitis affecting large arteries in young people. It is 10 times more common in women.
