Title: A single-blind randomized comparison of the 24-h antianginal efficacy of celiprolol versus atenolol. Author: Jackson NC, Lee PS, Taylor SH. Journal: J Cardiovasc Pharmacol; 1986; 8 Suppl 4():S145-7. PubMed ID: 2427846. Abstract: The effects of once-daily dosing with celiprolol 200 mg, celiprolol 400 mg, and atenolol 100 mg have been studied in 19 male patients with chronic stable angina pectoris. All three treatments improved angina attack rates and treadmill exercise performance equally. Celiprolol appears to be as efficacious as atenolol as an antianginal agent during long-term therapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
