Abstract: Robotic thymectomy with the da Vinci robotic system is the latest development in the surgery of thymic gland. Thymectomy for myasthenia gravis is best offered to patients with seropositive acetylcholine receptor antibodies and who are seronegative for muscle-specific kinase protein.
