Title: [Melanocytic population of buccal mucosa of patients with lichen planus]. Author: Durmisev A, Balabanova M. Journal: Stomatologiia (Sofiia); 1989; 71(1):10-3. PubMed ID: 2520865. Abstract: The authors have studied the melanocytic population in oral mucosa (Dihydorxyphenyl alanine, silver impregnation, hematoxilin-eosin) of 20 patients (10 with Lichen ruber planus and 10 with Alopecia areata). The melanocytic population in oral mucosa ranges from 605 to 1555 cells per m2 (964 +/- 312 on the average). Normal population, in case of lichen planus of oral mucosa, is disturbed in the regions of the pathological process. The deviations established are discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
