  • Title: [Circulating immune complexes in patients with acute and chronic diseases of the liver].
Author: Uibo RM, Nutt HR, Prjukk TJ.
Journal: Ter Arkh; 1989; 61(2):61-4. PubMed ID: 2524905.
    Abstract:
Altogether 471 persons were examined. Of these, 370 suffered from acute and chronic liver diseases and 101 were normal. 75 persons were examined over time (in the course of one year). The measurements were made of IgG-circulating immune complexes (CICs) and of CICs containing specific liver lipoprotein. It was established that IgG-CICs were mostly detectable in patients with acute viral hepatitis B, autoimmune chronic active hepatitis, and with primary biliary cirrhosis. CICs containing specific liver protein were detectable more frequently in patients with autoimmune chronic hepatitis and alcohol-induced liver injury.
