Title: The complete sequence of the mitochondrial genome of Sandu black pig (Sus Scrofa). Author: Wang LY, Xu D, Ma HM. Journal: Mitochondrial DNA A DNA Mapp Seq Anal; 2016 May; 27(3):1789-90. PubMed ID: 25259459. Abstract: Sandu black pig is one of the native breed in Guizhou province in China. The total length of mitochondrial genome of Sandu black pig is 16,741 bp. Mitochondrial genome contains a major non-coding control region (D-Loop region), 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs) and 22 transfer RNA genes. This is the first report of the complete mitochondrial genome sequence about Sandu black pig. The mitochondrial genome data of Sandu black pig presented is useful novel markers for further studying the population genetics of sus scrofa.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
