Abstract: The Meckel Gruber syndrome can be diagnosed in the 2nd trimester by specific sonografic examinations combined with AFP measurement in serum and amniotic fluid. Since 1977, we have observed nine fetuses showing this syndrome. 4 cases could be diagnosed between the 19th and 24th week of gestation.
