Title: Ultratrace DNA Detection Based on the Condensing-Enrichment Effect of Superwettable Microchips. Author: Xu LP, Chen Y, Yang G, Shi W, Dai B, Li G, Cao Y, Wen Y, Zhang X, Wang S. Journal: Adv Mater; 2015 Nov 18; 27(43):6878-84. PubMed ID: 26426114. Abstract: A sensitive nucleic acid detection platform based on superhydrophilic microwells spotted on a superhydrophobic substrate is fabricated. Due to the wettability differences, ultratrace DNA molecules are enriched and the fluorescent signals are amplified to allow more sensitive detection. The biosensing interface based on superwettable materials provides a simple and cost-effective way for ultratrace DNA sensing.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
