Title: Disseminated Nocardia asteroides with pustules. Author: Shapiro PE, Grossman ME. Journal: J Am Acad Dermatol; 1989 May; 20(5 Pt 2):889-92. PubMed ID: 2654222. Disseminated nocardiosis is a rare disease that occurs chiefly in the immunocompromised host and usually begins as a pleuropulmonary infection. Disseminated nocardiosis should be included in the differential diagnosis of pustules in immunosuppressed patients.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
