Abstract: Behavioral change after head injury is a multiply determined event which requires careful assessment of biologic, psychologic, and social parameters prior to the initiation of a treatment plan. Under certain conditions, the prudent use of neuropsychopharmacologic agents may substantially augment the rehabilitation process.
