Abstract: Since adequate transcervical passage of sperm is indispensable to the natural fertilization, the sperm-cervical mucus studies provide a new possibility for investigating the marriages infertile due to unknown causes. The behaviour of sperm in the cervical mucus is also important from the point of view of selecting the mode of insemination.
