  • Title: [Volatilization of plant protective agents from plants and soil as potential sources of exposure].
    Author: Goedicke HJ.
Journal: Z Gesamte Hyg; 1989 Mar; 35(3):146-8. PubMed ID: 2728544.
    Abstract:
The volatilization of chemical plant-protecting agents from plant and soil surfaces brings about an exposure of men and a contamination of the environment. On the basis of general physicochemical parameters the saturation-concentration, volatilization rate and volatilization half-life-period of selected insecticides is calculated by the help of several equations. Comparable air-concentrations of agents are given for open grounds and for green-houses.
