Abstract: Total adaptational syndrome, developed in response to a number of stress situations, is of importance in formation of accommodation reactions. Long-term and severe effects of the syndrome caused morphological and functional alterations in various tissues and body systems: adrenal gland hypertrophy, involution of thymus and spleen, ulcerous impairment of gastric mucosal membrane.
