Title: Progressive papillomatosis of the intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts. Case report. Author: Böttger T, Sorger K, Jenny E, Junginger T. Journal: Acta Chir Scand; 1989 Feb; 155(2):125-9. PubMed ID: 2741615. Abstract: Papillomatosis of the bile ducts is uncommon, with only 26 cases in the available literature. The salient symptom is icterus, often with right-sided abdominal pain. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiography and percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography nowadays permit preoperative diagnosis.
