Abstract: Cor pulmonale secondary to adenotonsillar hypertrophy is reported in two children. Repeated attacks of upper respiratory tract infection, snoring during sleep and finally signs of right heart insufficiency and mild cyanosis at exertion led to the diagnosis. Pulmonary hypertension was proved by electrocardiography, echocardiography and cardiac catheterization.
