Author: Lebedeva LV, Olianishin VN, Kadnikova ON.
Journal: Probl Tuberk; 1989; (5):26-8. PubMed ID: 2787506.
    Abstract:
The validity of the use and the procedure of lymphotropic therapy directed to transport of the main antituberculous drug (isoniazid) to the affection foci via the lymphatic system are presented. The procedure was well tolerated by children and adolescents. A course of 30 injections promoted faster resolution of the specific lesions in the lung tissue and intrathoracic lymph nodes. The procedure is useful in treatment of primary infection. It should be applied 3 months after the start of the treatment when there is a tendency to slow progress of the process.
