    Abstract:
    During a transurethral lithotripsy for multiple stones, a foreign body which was the nucleus of the largest calculus was removed. Identification of this body as the "cap" of the syringe containing fluid to fill the catheter balloon, implies that a doctor must have introduced this foreign body accidentally during catheterization.
