Title: Anorexia nervosa and schizophrenia in an adolescent female. Author: Lyon ME, Silber TJ. Journal: J Adolesc Health Care; 1989 Sep; 10(5):419-20. PubMed ID: 2808088. Abstract: A 14-year-old adolescent female with a previously unrecognized psychosis of 2 year's duration developed anorexia nervosa. The correct psychiatric diagnosis was made during a standardized clinical interview. On the NIMH Diagnostic Interview Scale for Children it was possible for the patient to reveal her psychotic symptoms.
