Abstract: The 'confidence telephone', organized at an outpatient center for the treatment and prevention of skin and sexually transmitted diseases, has proved to be a useful means of health education. Anonymous application over the phone helps overcome the psychologic barrier and discuss the most intimate problems with the physician. Analysis of the questions asked over the 'confidence telephone' shows the levels of the population's sanitary knowledge and thus helps plan the subject matter of health-educating activity the subject matter of health-educating activity in the region. 20% of the anonymous subjects came to the Center for consultation after speaking to the physician over 'confidence telephone'.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
