Title: What's eating you? Cheyletiella mites. Author: Reynolds HH, Elston DM. Journal: Cutis; 2017 May; 99(5):335;336;355. PubMed ID: 28632803. Abstract: Cheyletiella are nonburrowing mites commonly found on rabbits, dogs, and cats. The mites have been known to cause disease in humans, ranging from mild dermatitis to more severe illness with systemic symptoms. Herein, we review various clinical presentations associated with Cheyletiella mites as well as diagnostic techniques and treatment options for both humans and animals.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
