Title: Polyorchidism discovered as testicular torsion associated with an undescended atrophic contralateral testis: a surgical solution. Author: Gandia VM, Arrizabalaga M, Leiva O, Diaz González R. Abstract: We report a case of polyorchidism presenting as torsion of the supernumerary testis associated with an undescended atrophic contralateral testis. Biopsies of both descended testes revealed a normal histological pattern with active spermatogenesis. After the testicular torsion was corrected, one of the supernumerary testes was placed in the contralateral empty hemiscrotum and the undescended atrophic testis was removed.
